What a revelation this book is! My 3 daughters are taking piano and I've had a hard time getting them excited about learning how to sight read. Flashcards weren't cutting it - they are just repetitive and boring. Notebusters is totally different. It's easily digestible and my kids like being timed (and rewarded with small treats) for besting their previous records. Every kid taking piano should have this book!

Great tool that helped me start actually playing the piano a lot faster. Had been learning notes and a bit of theory, but wasn't really seeing an improvement in my ability to sight read. Learning to read random notes at a quick pace has really helped. Highly recommend this workbook for easy and effective exercises!

Perfect for teaching music to my kids. In just a few pages, they were note reading like pros. I can't wait to see how they do when they make it through the whole book. Best tool ever, even as an adult student I have found this book to really help me on note identification.

This book is excellent for really getting fluent in reading music. It has already helped my playing tremendously. It is a fair size book and you do 1 timed (1 minute) page a day during the week. If followed at this pace it takes about a year to finish the book and at the end it will be easy to read treble clef, bass clef, and all the ledger lines. A very good investment.

Even though I considered myself semi-competent in reading music, I didn’t realize the how much difference it makes to being completely fluent - I can't recommend it highly enough!

This is a down to earth book with page after page of ledger lines and notes. (There's an answer key in the back.) There are no fancy graphics, no smiling people waving at you. Just printed ledger lines with notes that you name. ...Excellent learning resource!!! p.s. This is a very thick book--about 280 pages including the answer key!! There is a lot of exercises to work through!! It's a great value!!!

I've tried for three years to teach my student to really READ notes, but to no avail until now. She wasn't into doing extra work, but once she learned that each lesson took only a minute, she latched on and is successfully learning to read notes!
